Supporting Craftsmanship
The birth of the Hend Krichen brand was off the back of love and devotion to craft and history. We truly believe that the objects we use today, can tell our story for centuries to come. This is why it’s essential that we design and make with integrity, longevity and functionality in mind.
Design
We design our products in our South London Studio. All the collections are designed by Hend Krichen, in collaboration with the manufacturers to deliver objects that are functional without compromising functionality.
Who we work with
We work with small factories who batch produce our beautiful pieces. This ensures that our batch production doesn’t get lost in the process. It helps us work closely to ensure quality control is met to standards.
The craftsmen we collaborate with are situated in Portugal, Tunisia and the United Kingdom. Making our products influenced by a varity of cultures, processes and traditions. Similar to Hend Krichen herself, who is Tunisian born and lived in various countries across the globe.
Materials
We use a combination of metals; brass and copper, as well as earthenware ceramic in most of our iconic pieces. Giving each object a striking juxtaposition of two beautiful materials.
Expertise
We hand pick craftsmen who are experienced in what they do, and we really cherish and harness their craft. We give them our platform to really showcase their skills, that they have spent years perfecting.
